We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Web Content Specialist for a Full-Time Remote position.
Web Content Specialist will respond to requests for changes to the customer-facing websites.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilize HTML/CSS knowledge and experience to align with brand guidelines while ensuring proper web standards such as cross-browser compatibility.
Create, edit, proofread, and update Web pages using a template-based solution.
Proactively review and revise site content and design based on performance indicators to increase revenue and usability.
Enrich user experience through tailoring content across the company's websites.
Build, configure, and prepare articles, components, and pages for publishing according to the content schedule.
Create and manage online content (primarily in Drupal) and support users.
Can edit or create engaging content that aligns with brand strategy and addresses the needs and interests of various user groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's and college Degrees in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education, Computer Science, English, Communication, Business, Writing, and Web Design.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar content management role.
Familiarity with CMS tools (Drupal) and SEO
Uses SEO tactics and CMS to maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement and works closely with a technical team to maintain site standards.
Has strong editorial skills
Able to do critical thinking (not an order taker), ability to take a ticket to analyze customer needs.
Good knowledge of USWDS or Bootstrap .
Section 508 / Accessibility experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of Drupal Administration
Bonus:
Knowledge of basic Aakamai features like clear cache, redirects
Worked with Drupal or equivalent content management system.
Understanding Agile Methodologies like Kanban
Understanding CX
